We, PrintHouseService GmbH, are an industrial service provider for the printing industry. Our expertise lies in manufacturer-agnostic integrated services for web-fed presses in the newspaper and job printing market worldwide. Our spectrum includes prepress, a wide variety of printing machines, and even mailroom technology: from repair, maintenance and retrofits to machine relocations across the globe.

Develop a new mainstay together with us, which is to be created at the customer's request! For this purpose and of course to strengthen our team at the Plauen site, we are looking for you for nationwide deployment as a mechanic / service technician / machine and system fitter (m/f/d) for the repair, installation and commissioning of machines and systems in the printing industry.

What we expect from you:

As a mechanic, you are a specialist in the field of maintenance and inspection of rotary printing machines, downstream processing and prepress systems. As a competent partner to our customers, you ensure the smooth execution of the necessary maintenance and servicing work:

• Independent execution of repairs and assembly work
• Disassembly and (re)assembly, installation and commissioning of a wide range of machines and systems for the printing industry
• If necessary, also take care of fitting or modification work to adapt the machines to the conditions at the new location
• Performing regular checks of technical parameters for the system, fault analyses and the development of technical optimisations
• Consideration and development of tender recommendations for service and maintenance intervals as well as necessary spare parts in cooperation with our technical procurement department.

Your skills and experience:

Completed vocational training in mechanical engineering or mechatronics. Ideally, you should have relevant professional experience and an understanding of the maintenance of heavy machinery and industrial systems. You’ll be a great fit for us if you:

• Have a sense of responsibility, self-organisation and self-motivation, as well as the ability to plan and work independently
• Are a goal-oriented, team-oriented, reliable, responsive, quality-conscious worker
• Are willing to travel, mainly within Germany, but also abroad depending on the project
• Have experience in the independent execution of service projects and customer-oriented thinking
• Have good knowledge of both German and English, spoken and written

We provide company cars for travelling to our customers’ sites, for which the possession of a Class B driving licence at minimum is required.
